Sveta misa povodom Velike Gospe

Last week, on the occasion of the Feast of the Assumption, a solemn Holy Mass was held in our PIO home, bringing together many residents and staff. This important holiday, which celebrates the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary into heaven, provided an opportunity for spiritual gathering and communal prayer.

The Mass was led by our priest, Don Josip Periš, who, in his inspiring homily, emphasized Mary's role as the mother of all believers and encouraged us to reflect on the importance of faith in our lives. He spoke of the hope and comfort that the Blessed Virgin Mary brings us and how her example of devotion and humility can serve as a guide in our everyday lives. The home's residents listened attentively to Don Josip’s words, feeling the strength of unity in faith.

Along with the Mass, confession was organized for the residents. Many took this opportunity to renew themselves spiritually, reconcile with God, and find peace in their hearts. The confession took place in the home's chapel, where residents had the chance to speak personally with the priest, who offered them support and understanding during moments of spiritual reflection.

This event was particularly important for all the residents, as it provided them with a sense of spiritual closeness and strengthened their faith. The Feast of the Assumption brought joy and comfort to their daily lives, reminding them of the immeasurable love and mercy that the Blessed Virgin Mary offers.

After the spiritual part of the program, the residents gathered for a social event, where they shared their impressions and joy over refreshments and cakes, having participated in this special occasion together. The atmosphere was filled with a sense of community, and both the residents and staff spent pleasant time together, exchanging words of support and encouragement. Last week’s Holy Mass and confession in celebration of the Feast of the Assumption left a deep impression on all present, providing moments of peace, spiritual renewal, and shared joy in our PIO home.
